Gems for Jesus exists to spread the Good News of Jesus and support finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.  T1D Warriors and their care givers work each day to manage Type 1 Diabetes, dealing with the highs and lows of life while fighting through the highs and lows of a chronic disease. People with Type 1 Diabetes require daily insulin injections for survival. Type 1 Diabetes is an incurable, lifelong, autoimmune disease.

In the natural world, we know that gems are made under pressure.  Under the pressures of life, when we keep fighting, staying faithful and knowing God does not leave us alone in this fight we can become Gems for Jesus.
